EXCITING NEWS!!!!!!!

Oh prayer warriors who have lifted up requests to our Father on our behalf...He has moved His hand on earth in a mighty way today. We got a call tonight that we have "verbal" approval from China to adopt Kimmie and Quan!!! We are very humbled by God's mercy. Oh please praise Him and give Him much glory with us! We got the call while we were watching a documentary on PBS about China!!!! God's timing is so incredibly perfect and awesome. Now we are all so excited we are not even tired and it's close to midnight! (well, I take that back, Clay and Carlie zonked during the China doc. Apparently learning about the politics bored them!) Just a while ago Colby came in here with 2 verses he said I should post on our blog. Here they are:
John 14:18 "I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you"
Isaiah 50:2 "Was my arm too short to ransom you? Do I lack the strength to rescue you?"
Oh Lord thank you for reminding him of these verses tonight! Your Word never returns void!

Please continue to pray for smooth details. Hopefully we will get the approval in writing soon. I think we can send Kimmie and Quan packages after that.

Please also pray for our paperwork to flow smoothly and quickly through the immigration office in Atlanta. Again, I know His timing is so perfect!

Thank you all for continuing to walk this road with us! Kimmie and Quan are so blessed to have such a close knit group of prayer warriors praying for them!

I saw you at the travel meeting the other night, but didn't get over there to meet you. We've talked before online, though.

That's fantastic that you got verbal pre approval! I have been praying that you would be approved for both children.

We took our kids to China the first time we went--bring some duct tape with you (we just kind folded it over on itself and made our own small flat roll). Put it on the faucet in the bathroom so the kids (and you!) don't accidentally use the tap water for brushing your teeth. Old habits die hard!

That is such wonderful news! Kimmie and Quan couldn't be joining a better family, and God knows that...he has planned this from the foundation of the world. The BRBC youth have been lifting you all up since we heard (in fact, we prayed for you last night!), so they'll be excited to hear that their prayers have been answered. We love you guys!

My husband and I are also using Lifeline so I have been reading about your family from the yahoo group. It is WONDERFUL that you have gotten verbal approval from China! This is a reminder that God is in control and still works miracles today. We will continue to pray for your family.

Kimmie & Quan are the two (I almost said luckiest) blessed, fortunate kids around. To be placed in such a godly family, who can hardly wait to welcome them with open arms (not to mention the sweetest mom)! I've just read most of your blogs and it is so exciting that God is just working all this out. I love how you give Him ALL the praise and glory. Your dependence is amazing to see. I love what He is doing and your kids are learning so much and they are so amazing. I know as the baby of my family I would not have been pleased had my mom brought home a new baby. I HATE to admit that but it is so true. God has also prepared their hearts! I love to watch you! I think your family is so neat and not to mention your relationship with Shalita (I think y'all are cooler than Jazzercise - but don't tell anyone I said that!). Y'all are all just so neat and I'm so exatic the Lord allowed our paths to cross! Well, I must go to bed now! I need to be attentive tomorrow in class!! HA! Love ya!
