The Red Couch in Springville!

Okay, for those who don't know about the red couch picture...when you go to China to adopt your child, you stay at this hotel (The White Swan) that has the infamous "red couch". EVERY adoptive parent has pictures of their babies on the red couch! Well, whattayaknow...there's a red couch in Springville with 5 little China dolls perched on it! Hope, Olivia, Emmi, Tess, and little Isabella. Precious babies!
We were so excited to get together with 4 other families who are waiting on their babies or have adopted their babies already. What a fabulous support group of godly families!
Two years ago when I bought that red couch cover, I never dreamed I would be taking a picture of China dolls on it and dreaming of when I could take a picture of my own China dolls on the REAL red couch in China! I bought the red cover because Granmart said I needed red. I guess that God knew I needed red, too!
We all cannot wait for the Springville red couch picture that will include Kimmie, Quan, Avery, and Lilly and maybe more? :)

GraciAnna's first red couch picture! You just fit right in with those China dolls, girlfriend!

Ten adults and 15 children...Here are all the children practicing for their red couch picture! Wait a minute, Kristin, where are you? These children were the best behaved kiddos! They all played so sweet together!

China Mommies and Daddies! Pintaros, Ryes, Ferrills, Hurleys and the Merrimans. The food, fellowship, and fun were chicken soup for my soul!

Carlie and Emmi are chowing down. It was such a blessing to have everyone over! After everyone left, Katie Lyn was literally BUBBLING with excitement over getting to play with all the little girls from China. Here is her stream of sentences "Oh Momma, when I grow up I'm going to adopt 20 from China. Oh, but they won't let me get 20. So I'll just get 1 from Guatemala, 1 from Russia, 1 from Vietnam and 5 from China." To which I say "Will you birth any of your own?" Her reply? "No, I mean...I just do not want to go through that process!"
Giggle Giggle, I just love that girl!
