sharing with the CampFire Girls

Thank you Mrs. Tina's 5th grade CampFire girls! Today I was blessed to be able to teach a lesson on China customs, adoption, and special needs children. Katie Lyn was in CampFire from 2002-2005 and I loved helping Tina with the group. They were very gracious to allow us to come back and share our story!

Who would have ever thought I would be telling someone about China? "Not by my might, but by His power..."

After our discussion on special needs children, we practiced picking items up with our toes. Everyone could see how difficult it might be to not be able to use their hands.

Sippy cups are hard to pick up!

More toe practicing!

Near the end of our meeting everone helped us make more bead creations! Thank you so much!

Thank you girls for helping us out! We had so much fun with you! Yall were great listeners and we can't wait to tell Kimmie and Quan about the sweet CampFire girls who took the time to understand more about adoption and special needs children. May God bless you all!

Here is a road map I made to show the girls the adoption process. I was so thankful that I got the email from Jenn right before this, so I was able to move our family from DHR to CIS! (See post below!)
