Happy Chinese New Year, Everyone!

We had a great time together at the first annual Birmingham Chinese New Year Festival. We felt closer to Kimmie and Quan and China today! It was fun to see all the Chinese families as well as other adoptive families from Lifeline!
Lion Parade in Linn Park We missed Mardi Gras in Mobile this weekend, but we had a good time at this festival!

Katie Lyn scoring two points for the "Year of the Pig"!!! 2007 is the Chinese year of the pig...in what Chinese year were you born? :)

The red lanterns all around Linn Park made for a very festive atmosphere! Also the Chinese music put us all in the mood for...

Enjoying Chinese food in Linn Park.

Pretty dancers at the Museum of Art.

I cannot wait to hold my own Chinese boy and girl! Thank you for indulging me, Hannah and Noah! Hannah has the same birthday (11-01-04) as our Quan-boy!

Ok, I'm a rat, too. I'm gonna have to read up on that to see if there is ANYTHING good about rats, because I literally hate them. Y'all look like you didn't miss Mardi Gras at all.
