The Tooth Fairy Strikes Again...

Soooooooooooo...this time it's little Clay (our 7 yr. old). His bottom tooth came out in the bathtub tonight! Of course you can guess just what he did before he went to bed! Yes, wrote a fund-raising note to the tooth fairy:
"dear tooth fairy
me and my family are Adopting from Chin so could you please leave more money? Love Clay"
These days are precious to me, my friends!

Today we spent from 7:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at our church making more chocolate suckers and "cups o' goodies" for our Valentine bake sale. Thank you Linda, Linda and Mrs. Kay again for helping us! It was so much fun! We took some home to see what we could sell ourselves, and this afternoon we trekked out in the cold in our neighborhood. Katie Lyn was DETERMINED we would sell these things TODAY. We walked part of the way, then we were frozen so we drove the rest. And I must say how overwhelmed I am at the sweet response of our neighbors!!! Very heart-warming! As I would sit in the car and watch the children run up to a door, all bundled in their coats, hats, and mittens with suckers and bead creations and cups of goodies spilling out of their arms, and hear them explain about their new brother and sister and show the much-wrinkled and torn by now picture of Kimmie and Quan....
God would sit in the car with me and we just smiled at them together.

"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations for ever and ever!" Eph. 3:20,21

Your kids are so sweet! You will have so many helpers on hand when you finally get to bring those precious babies home. You are truly blessed.

Take lots of pictures. Write everything down. They grow up so fast. *sniff*

That is sooooooo sweet! Ben was seven when he went to China for Katie Lin. Before we traveled he wrote a sticker story with faces....all of our eyes are round and KL's are Asian. He wrote "I am going to China to get my baby sister. It is going to be fun! China is so cool!"
I ended our DVD of our slide show with the paper. I say all of that to say. If you are not already planning to keep the paper...DO! It is special now but later it really will be!!!

LOL! Laine, that's emotional blackmail! Who could possibly have turned down those kids, excitedy explaining what they're doing and why, showing pics of their soon-to-be brother and sister from China.....oh, you've stooped to a new low! (hehe!) That's so exciting, and I'm constantly in awe of your family. How is it possible that we came from the same womb?!
