I'm a dog...loyal, faithful and true!
The description is pretty funny!
Kimmie is a rooster like the Magster, and Quan is a monkey...oh boy!

I am Colby and my year is the year of the tiger. And I'm very happy about that because I go for Auburn!

I'm Katie Lyn and sadly but surely I'm the year of the rat! How perfect! We have one in our attic!

I'm Clay. I wish I was the year of the tiger but I'm the year of the rabbit because I go for Auburn, too.
Me and my brother Colby like to play football.

I'm Carlie. I wish there was a year of the elephant because I go for Alabama and my Mom does too. I don't really like to be born in the year of the snake.

I was born in the year of the rooster ... which says "Loyal and trustworthy, people born in the Year of the Rooster are sociable, very accomplished and usually very well-dressed."

I think that describes me pretty well... except on Sundays. :-)

Since I dress up M-F I've decided that Sunday is my casual day. So don't be shocked to see me in blue jeans at church.

Hi Laine

I'm a Tiger; Phil is an Ox. Sarah is a dragon, Cameron is a snake, Jonathan and Olivia are sheep, and Hannah and Mia are Roosters.

When we were in China, Hannah was shopping for a jade necklace with her animal on it. She was so upset to find out that her animal was the "chicken." The Chinese storekeeper didn't understand why she wasn't proud of that. We had to explain what it meant to be called a "chicken" in America. She ended up buying a horse necklace, and they totally couldn't understand her wanting something that wasn't from her year.

I'm a PIG! How appropriate! :) This time of year I always feel like a pig. I am carrying around my extra winter pounds.

I do understand this being a difficult week of waiting. Vietnam is also having their New Year celebrations this week (a couple of their animals are different, but I'm still a pig). Tet is a very big deal and everything closes for the week. The waiting is hard enough, but this week I feel like I am waiting to wait. I'm happy to see that you are finding things to help pass the time. :)

Happy Chinese New Year,
Jennifer

I became really proud reading mine! Just thinking how I was so outgoing and loveable!! HA! Then sadden when I realized I choose the wrong "career" - I was to be a scientist! WATCH OUT!!
