Happy Mother's Day!

What a sweet day God gave me today! I'm so blessed and privileged to have these children here and my babies in China! They made sure to pamper me and make me feel very loved with home-made cards and thoughtful gifts. Thank you God for these little ones you have entrusted to me for a little while! I pray I will be faithful and wise as I lead my little flock. I absolutely cannot wait until the Lord brings my two sheep in China into our fold!
Praise God! We had our second and FINAL yard sale Saturday, and God provided not just money but also great weather! We had SO much stuff left over so we gave it all to our friends the Nielsen's who are adopting from Guatemala. They are having a yard sale in a couple of weeks. Here is Danny N. with his truck and trailer full and ready for their sale! I pray the Lord sells ALL their stuff!
Most cats get a little anxious when there's commotion around their domain. Not Snowflake. At this yard sale and the last one we had, he just made himself a home among the softest clothes he could find. Someone had to ask me to move my cat so she could look in the stack of clothes!
Katie Lyn set up a nail spa and face painting booth. Manicure, anyone?
At our yard sale in March we sold hot chocolate. This weekend Colby was in charge of selling snowcones. He and the others ATE UP ALL THE SUPPLIES!
Baseball is winding down. It's been such a fun season this year! We are blessed with great coaches who really love the boys and teach them individually.
Now we're gearing up for the big dance recital next weekend. The greatest dance teacher and friend, Mrs. Shalita, bought Kimmie her first pair of ballet shoes. They are SO tiny and cute!
I hope you all have a great week in the Lord! John 15:5

Laine, I hope you had a wonderful Mother's day. It sounds like your family took good care of you. I know mine did. Breakfast in bed was very nice.
Next year you will have you other two little ones in that Mother's day photo.
Looks like a great weekend for everyone.
Baseball is winding down for us too. It has been fun. One more week and then the weekend.
Blessings,
Lisa

That Shalita is out of this world! So thoughtful! I know she is extatic about having Kimmie in her dance class! Recital is going to be fun! Anna is a MESS! I'm alittle nervous about what she may do! It will be cute!
AND, I'm so glad your yard sale went good! Have you ever thought that maybe your cat is wanting to get sold - she's so pretty - you could have made a lot of money off her! HA! Just kidding!

What a beautiful picture of you and your sweet children! Next year's picture will be even better. I have the best picture of you and Kelley Anne from the "slip and slide" day! Nothing like our precious little ones, is there? I feel so blessed to have a reason to celebrate Mother's Day!
Hope to see you soon!
