Who is like the Lord? NOBODY!

Our children's musical was this morning at church. It was a great worship experience! Mrs. Jane wrote the skits herself and did an incredible job! The music was awesome! I pray God receives all the glory from this program! Our puppeteers did a great job singing "Who is like the Lord...NOBODY!" If you haven't heard this song, it is a jammin' song. I LOVE it! Katie Lyn is the hot pink puppet (she named her "Football Head").
"You came from heaven to earth to show the way, from the earth to the cross, my debt to pay. From the cross to the grave, from the grave to the sky, Lord I lift your name on high!"
Katie Lyn singing her solo "Holy is the Lord, God Almighty! The earth is filled with His glory!"
Here is the "Stuck in Sin" skit. Colby tries to tell Annabelle the way out of her sin is to take a philosophical approach and do some case studies for about 5 years and read this big he walks off the stage, he says "Good luck to you!" Obviously that didn't get Annabelle out of her sin!
Katie Lyn (right) and her sweet friend Danay show Annabelle the way to get out of that sin...Jesus Christ! They teach her how to pray to receive Him as her Savior. Then the "sin" box fell open and she was free! It was awesome!

This was the X-Box skit. Colby played "Sam" who is a guy playing video games with his friends. He asks them to go play golf with him on Sunday and his friends explain that they go to church on Sundays. They tell "Sam" about church and "Sam" decides he wants to go too!
This was the sleepover skit where the girls are pretending to watch "High School Musical" and are jammin' out to "Soarin', Flyin" with their hairbrush microphones! Later they realize that they don't have to be like Troy and Gabriella, and God made them with their OWN special and unique qualities.
Katie Lyn (left) and Danay "gettin' their head in the game" for Jesus! They did a great job dancing with basketballs and there were no broken windows! (Katie Lyn broke a window at the dance studio when the girls were practicing this dance! OOPS! Good thing the studio owner is so forgiving--love you Shalita!)
It was an awesome choir program, I do wish all of you could have seen it! I praise God for these precious children learning how to praise and worship!
I posted other odds and ends below...

Hey, great to see Katie Lyn still bouncing the basketball. I was with the girls when the window broke. I couldn't help but laugh at them because they were ready to see everything they owned to replace the window. Accidents happen. J.J. and I were going to call the police but we decided they were worth saving. I have never seen two girls so scared in their lives. They were truly sorry. Looks like everything at the program was awesome. I'm so proud of kids when I see them leading adults in worship of the Lord.

Our church did that musical last year! It was a cute program!

Here's hoping that the days go by quickly for you as you move closer to travel.....I know you're ready to go. Have you seen the temperatures in Wuhan lately? You'll probably be relieved to return to Alabama!

I can't imagine adding two toddlers to the family at once! Bless you, Laine. As they say in China, "Double Happiness."

I am so glad/relieved to hear you have grandparents traveling with you Laine!! You will need them! I had thought God we need to travel with the Ferrills so we can help them! Of course, He already had everything worked out. :)
The musical at your church looks AWESOME! Your kids are so talented. What fun!
Looks like you have warm weather already. We are still kinda chilly here. We went to the zoo on Saturday. The tropical rainforest exhibit was a good trial run for Wuhan!

I don't know how forgiving I really am.HaHa!! I do know it is too close to recital and I am too pregnant to be concerned with a broken window. After seeing the total fear on the faces of our girls, of course I forgive them. I am so thankful Mamma Vic was there to be the bearer of bad news and also the comforter and protector all at the same time. The kids were AWESOME in their program! Ms. Jane, you did an incredible job!! To God be the glory, great things He has done. And great things He did during the Children's Program! Thank you Lord for allowing us to worship with family and friends at Clearview! Thank you for a precious choir director and her dedicated and loving assistants. And last but now least, thank you for the gift of children, especially when they are sharing your message. Thank you also that next year we can add Jacey Grace, Quan and Kimmie to these choir pictures when they sing about Jesus in the preschool choir. I cannot wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
