Two Days and Tons of Tears....

Well, it's hit me. We're leaving in two days and I am so emotional! Just reading all these sweet comments and listening to all the sweet messages on my answering machine of people telling us good-bye. It's so humbling! Oh God thank you for all the new friends you've given me, and for strengthening all my "old" friendships and family ties. I think if I have to say good-bye to one more person I will melt into a puddle, and for those I missed giving a hug and good-bye to, here it is now...MMMMMMM-MMMMMMMMM! I know, we ARE coming back everybody! BUT, when we come back, things will be very different. In a good way, but still different.
To top of my tears, we received the most precious video of our babies! We watched it at Lifeline today with Karla and I was speechless....because I was crying so hard I couldn't talk! It is absolutely awesome. What a surprise blessing! We will upload it to the blog very soon. To sum up the video...Quan is Mr. Active Smiley-Pants, and Kimmie is Mrs. You Better Pick Me Up or Else!
Be watching for a precious kiss that Kimmie blows to the camera. When I heard her foster father and mother talking to her, I just broke down. They love her so much. Quan's foster parents do too, you can tell. Oh's bittersweet, so bittersweet.
Have I mentioned we're leaving in two days and I can't stop crying? It's a good cry, though. A really really good cry.

Too much fun! I can't wait to see the video and even better I can't wait to see the video of Japan! I'll try and keep Shalita company while your gone! HA! What can I do for her - take her to Walmart at midnight? Will that give her the Laine spirit! Or should I dress up like Heidi and come knowing on her door at 10 pm and award her with glass? or Hmmm... the ideas are limitless!
I can't wait to hear all about it! Make God famous in China! Much love to all the Ferrills!

Jonathan and I just watched the videos and they are so sweet.
I immediately thought of Psalm 139.
"...For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and WONDERFULLY made... in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there were none of them..."
God knew before the foundations of the world that you all would be Kimmie and Quan's forever family.
We are praying for you all. Check out the Starbucks for me- they have good hot chocolate and Rob can taste the lattes for me. How do you say "skinny latte" in Chinese?!

I just saw the videos. Oh, how your arms must be aching to hold those babies, can't wait to love on them myself. Less than 48 hours and you are on your way. Loved the new pics as well...Just counting the days till you are back home with all 6, that's right, I said 6, babies. What a beautiful sound, Love y'all and will be keeping up with you every day.

Just want to let you know how happy I am for you and your family!! The videos are precious and I'm so excited that you'll soon have these babies in your arms. Life, as you know it, will most definitely change. But without change, there could not be butterflies!! These children have wings and with the love of their forever family, they will soon soar!
