Negativo, nada, nil, nope!

Hallelujah and praise the Lord! We had a call from Dr. Robins nurse, Kimmie's genetic doctor,
that all that blood work done last month, remember? The wet her panties, screaming bloody murder, couldn't find a vein, Quan glad it wasn't him blood work? Well....
NEGATIVE! No syndrome, no sirree! She does not have Holt-Oram syndrome! Her little radial club hands are indeed isolated and we are SO thankful!
Now Miss Kimmie can just go on about her little two year old life with no if she had any!

She will be having her first surgery on her right hand this month....we'll keep you updated!

That's great news! When you know a surgery date, please let me know. I don't do ortho, but I would love to be able to take Kimmie into the O.R. Maybe it would help you guys feel a little better if you "know" the person taking her from you to go to surgery. I've really enjoyed following Quan's progress.

Hey guys! Thanks for praising the Lord for this wonderful news! Sorry I didn't give more info on the surgery. I forgot to post about her recent orthopedic appt. Dr. Doyle is going to do a few things on her right hand that will help her mobility, hygiene, and other things. As of now, the left hand will not have surgery. He is going to do the procedures a little at a time, so on Feb. 19th she will have step one which is to remove what I call her "happy", it's an extra finger thing sticking off her thumb. It will be outpatient surgery. Thank you Mandy for offering to take her back for us! ;)
Love you all!
