There's a gas grill in my den

We're staining our deck and painting deck furniture.

We visited a water slide park right smack dab in the middle of Alabama cotton fields.
Ever been to Spring Valley Beach? FUN!

We walked 102 steps out of a cave at Rickwood Caverns.

We were honored to be the first guests at Rob's sister's new lake house on Lake Martin. (We're pretty sure we broke it in REAL good! ;) Thank you Troy and Jill!

Rob, Colby, and Clay went to the Auburn game with Troy, Austin, and Aaron. In the words of Colby, it was a "dream come true!" ;) Ya think he likes his Auburn football?

We started back to Community Bible Study.

Kimmie learned how to color in the lines.

We haven't received our L.O.A.

Just thought I'd post a bit of randomness to share the random week we've had! Thank you so much for your precious comments about Candie Le and her birthday cake! Yall are all such jewels to our family...we treasure your support and prayers SO MUCH!

We're walking on concrete! How are you able to fit in all of the homeschooling with all of this fun? JUST KIDDING! I'm jealous, because I'm stuck in a classroom with 18 first graders, but blessed because they are so stinking sweet and cute - kind of like your kids! Hoping you hear some news from China very soon, Love, Laura

Ain't homeschoolin' grand? LOL

Yes, I grew up going to Spring Valley Beach as a kid. Believe me, it's come a long way! It used to just be a waterin' hole stuck in the middle of those cotton fields--nothing even close to a water park! LOL I hated we didn't get to go with ya'll today but we did go earlier this year.

Hope Rickwood didn't wear ya out too much yesterday! I'm glad ya'll got to come. And thanks again for your help!

What fun! Sounds like y'all's summer still isn't over, and I'm a bit envious! LOVE that y'all have access to a lake house, too! What a blessing for y'all!

okay - first of all, YEAH Kimmie! I'm very impressed with her coloring. I have a lot of three year olds at school with "normal" hands that can't color that well!

Second - looks like y'all are having lots of fun!

Third - I'm praying for that LOA to come soon!

Fourth - Are y'all going to the lifeline reunion next weekend

Fifth - I went to see a hand specialist in Atlanta with Sadie this week. I LOVED him! I'm definately going to have him do whatever surgery we do. (not entirely sure what that is yet, but he gave me a lot of info and told me to go home and think about it)

Sixth - how did your little ones like Rickwood Caverns? Just curious if my 5 and almost 3 (will be before we have a chance to go) would enjoy it.

That LOA will be here soon. It has to! In the mean time, keep doing what you're doing....making the most of your time!

You're about to have 7 kids! Amazing!

Oh Wow!! We've been wanting to go to Rickwood Caverns for a while. Maybe I can take my kids sometime soon.
Looks like just b/c school/ homeschool has started it hasn't stopped the Ferril's from having some last min fun for the sultry hot Alabama summer.
The kids look like they've had an awesome time ;). & I'm sooo jealous about the Ferril boys going to Auburn for the game--I miss it soo much (the game that is).
We'll keep you on our prayer list for your papers so you can go get Candie.
