The Next American Idol - heh

Rob posting... I guess she needs to learn English first...

Well, it's been awhile since we've posted huh? I'll bet no one's even noticed... :-)

I suppose Ms. Laine is a little too overwhelmed with life to get back into this just yet so I'll have to pick up the slack for awhile. Believe me, I've missed it to... I've pestered her quite a bit about posting. Miss Candace is doing quite well adjusting to our family. She got her teeth cleaned today for the first time and it went quite well because she had 6 other kids demonstrating.

So here's a little video of her coming out of her shell... singing and dancing quite well (she takes after me) :-)

Super cute video!!! Candace looks like she's doing well. Tell Laine I hope she feels better soon. It took me awhile to get back to our normal routine after our last adoption trip too.

Rob...thank you SO MUCH for posting! We were missing you guys...and REALLY praying that everything was ok!!!

What a cool video of her. Do you know what song she was singing? It would be neat to have someone translate what she was singing...obviously it was a familiar song because it had the verses and the chorus. I could at least tell that. It's SO wonderful to see Candance enjoy herself like that!!! Hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving and are looking forward to a wonderful Christmas!!!

Thank you Thank you for posting!!! Was that last comment I left sound desperate??? Well, I was!

Candace is so precious. She reminded me of the little girls that sang and dance during the opening ceremonies of the Olympics. TOOO Adorable!!!!!!!

I LOVE the video! It is so cute. I've missed reading the blog. Kennedy just stared at the screen the whole time the video played so she really enjoyed it too. She was probably thinking that is the best music I've heard in over a month.

Thank you Rob for posting. We are having withdrawls here waiting for updates. Candance is such a beautiful child. I love her singing and of course the dancing.
We leave in 9 days for our sweet Lia!!!

Wow, Rob - thanks for posting! I mean, you only have SEVEN children, so what else are you going to do? Why aren't there any pics of you from your Thanksgiving announcement? You guys did a great job hosting for Thanksgiving - who would've guessed 18 children, and 16 adults (did I forget some?) could have a seated dinner? With a Peeinata and everything! It was great to see all of you, and to meet sweet Candace. I love to hear her sing her lullaby that never ends, and this song and dance you posted is also very special. Hope you all have a very special holiday season! And STAY OFF THE ROOF! (Lyn made me say it). Love to all, Laura

She is just adorable. I especially love the hopping on one foot around in a circle. What balance she has. Shalita, you need to sign her up for dance now!! She is just precious and I love seeing her smiling face every Sunday morning at church!! Annabelle and Maggie loved the video too!!
We love you guys!!

LOVE IT!!!!!!!

This is fantastic! It took Mia a VERY long time to get to the point where she would sing and dance for us....over a year. She just didn't trust (?) enough to share that side of herself. It just shows that God was preparing Candace to come into your family.

I love it that you have the video to remember this. And I love it that she has to stop every now and then to pull up her pants! Those tiny Chinese bottoms!

Thanks for posting, Rob.

I'm glad to hear that Candace is adjusting well. I hope to hear more details when it is possible, but I'll take whatever I can get! We are a bunch of desperate ferrill groupies, aren't we?? :)

I think the other contestants have all been eliminated. She's certainly the American Idol, and I can't wait for future performances!
