Looking back...

Then....

And Now....

If someone would have told me around the time that "Then" picture was taken that I would have more children and they would be adopted from China...I would have thought they had gone stark raving mad. I mean, obviously I had my hands pretty full with four dumplings. It's so merciful of the Lord not to let us see His plan for us until He knows we're ready!

Looking back, I should've known by looking at the "Then" picture that God would give me more little dumplings...I mean look at how much SPACE there is in that picture! ;)

Isaiah 25:1 "O Lord, you are our God; We will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done marvelous things, things planned long ago."

Yes, the "Then" picture does have a look of "incompleteness", doesn't it?

hey..that was my deleted post above. sorry, brain now working.

Beautiful family..isn't it amazing what God does?

On a totally different note, I was reading down through old posts while procrastinating cleaning my house which is something I'm good at (good at procrastinating, not cleaning!). I noticed the one where Carlie is going to get to be with Kylie for part of the Miss Alabama pageant. I hope she has a great great time! We know one of the contestants...Jessica Andrews. Miss Shelby County. She's a kindergarten teacher at my school. Carlie, if you meet her, tell her DeEtte and Hannah say hello and good luck! And best of luck to Kylie too. What a cool experience for Carlie!

I was JUST thinking the same thing as Ohilda, as I looked at that picture again.
Really, in front, to the right, there seem to be about THREE empty spots yet....
