Wonderful Wednesday

We have lots of hope of going home today. His INR was below 2 so that is what we are waiting on. However, they went ahead and gave him his first injection of Lovenox this morning (actually Laine did) for two reasons. One was to make sure we could handle it ourselves and secondly they want to make sure it is the right dosage. So we are waiting on one more blood draw at 2:00 to make sure the Lovenox is at the right level and if so, we're free!

I'm sure you'll hear us singing across the country. Laine said it almost feels like she's in prison. But she is also keeping things in perspective because we don't have it nearly as bad as some others up here. We all need to pray for these precious children up here waiting on heart transplants and some who are post transplant who are sick and on iv meds. Big sigh. It makes our hearts ache for these families.

Stay tuned...

That's good news! I hope you are released soon. It's too beautiful a day to be cooped up inside the hospital!

Grand news! Believing you are resting at home right now. I cannot even come close to imagining how difficult it is seeing all the precious little heart children. I am sure you were such a light to many families looking for hope.

Hugs!

Wonderful news for you guys!
And I love your family all the more for your big hearts for the other families that aren't looking at the possibility of heading home today.

Ahhhh, home!!!
I hope it will happen quickly, and you'll be able to just be "normal" again, and at home, and comfy....
Blessings to you all!

As hard as it is, I think it would do us all well to visit a children's ward in the hospital like that, and give us all a big ol' dose of what reality is for so many families. It would put life into perspective REALLY quick!

My heart breaks for all that you have been through, yet I keep praying it is all for HIS glory. Hang in there and know we're still praying and always will!!

Love you guys!!
