Sunday Night Update

Well, not a lot of good news to report. They pulled the drain out because it still wasn't working after they flushed it. They then went to the next escalation phase of treating an effusion... steroids. They plan to put Kevin at the front of the line tomorrow morning to have another ultrasound to check on the effusion. If it is bigger, they will put another drain in. The same or smaller, we keep going with the steroids. We expect to be in the hospital through mid-week at a minimum. Being the optimist that I am, I'm praying and hoping for that to come true.

I'm also praying for Kevin to rest well tonight for his sake and for his Mama's sake. He didn't seem very good today, kinda pale and puffy all over, almost swollen. Father, Jehovah Rapha, the Lord that Healeth, lay Your healing hand on Your son Kevin tonight! Give those doctors something to stand in amazement at as they see the Mighty Physician do His work.

Here's a few recent pics of that infectious smile so you can remember who we're praying about... :-)

Don't even know how to respond right now. My heart is heavy with this latest news. And yet I know that God is before you and has His mighty hands wrapped around Kevin as I type. May you all be blessed with peaceful sleep tonight.

Could some of the swelling be related to the steroids?

Continuing to pray and anxiously awaiting an update.

PLEASE let us know how we can help.
Love you all,
