Gotcha!

Welcome Cassie and Chloe to your forever family!!!  We rejoice at the amazing work the Lord has done today in bringing these girls to our arms!  We absolutely adore them already!

After bath time in matching pjs!  Corrie LOVES the twins!  And they treat her like a little sister already!  Cooper enjoys playing with them too...but he is such a big boy now, he's not much into giggly girl stuff, lol!

They came right to us.  They seem to have been well loved, and well prepared praise God!  Cassie got teary eyed off and on, bless her.  The nannies really really loved our girls and sent gifts with them.  Cassie and Chloe came to us with all the clothes and things we had sent them, plus gifts from their nannies.  Soooooo sweet!  Chloe latched onto us, so love-hungry!  And we certainly are giving her plenty of love!

Cassie snuggled up with Carlie...coloring on her iPhone.  Both girls come to me and Rob to show us pictures, to tell us what they need.  It is so good so far!  They are little Chinese girls through and through.  So their Chinese language is excellent.  So ours is not excellent.  So that poses a problem when they are desperately trying to tell us something!  KK has a translator app that works well when it wants to.  Otherwise we just act things out and laugh at each other!

YALL I don't know what we would have done without KK and Carlie today.  Since Chloe cannot walk or stand alone, we have to carry her onto the bus, carry her when she has to use the restroom, etc...and when we have Chloe's wheelchair (which she loves the one we brought for her!) and Corrie's stroller, it makes getting to/from places a challenge. But every time I have picked Chloe up today (and she is pretty solid!) I have felt an overwhelming gratefulness that I get to be her mommy.  And she calls me mommy, not mama.  I love it!  I hope and pray I never take for granted these 14 children the Lord has given us!  They are all such miracles and little blessings!!!  How I long to get back home to my babies at home!!!  KK and Carlie have taken care of Cooper and Corrie for us!    What a huge help!  Cassie walks, even runs!!!She does have a limp, but it doesn't slow that girl down.

Cassie adored Corrie from the first moment!

What a day it has been!  Amazing!  I could go on and on, and forgive me for how choppy and all over the place this update is!

Thank you for praying friends!!!  And praise the Lord for the twins He has brought to us today!!!

Rejoicing with you and prayers continuing. We bought a translator device for Samuel (8 yr old) that helped (translates better w/short messages). It was a V650
